SRHR education and activism

I consider myself a passionate and active member of my local trans, queer and lesbian communities. I try to be involved in as much organizing as I can.

I obtained my qualification as a sex educator in 2020 – after that, I have started structuring courses and workshops that dealt with sexual and relational health and well-being from an inclusive perspective, and, most importantly, that took into consideration queer experiences. In 2020, I began engaging with digital activism: I have managed a successful personal blog project (@mandragoraoff), which was aimed at spreading information on SRHR and queer issues through graphic, video and educational content. I have also taken care of creating and supporting a passionate community around my work. Upon invitation, I have participated in interviews, podcasts, documentaries, educational videos, and keynote speaking.

I have been active as a volunteer for ActionAid Italia between 2018 and 2020 – the team I was part of focused on organizing local educational events and projects dealing with the topics of gender equality, SRHR, LGBTQ+ matters, supporting active citizenship in the area, and carrying out advocacy.
